Per weight of meat or vegetables. Weigh the seasoning once: teaspoons are a rough check only.
- For 300g meat/veg
- Use 10g (approx. 1 heaped tablespoon)
- For 500g meat/veg
- Use 15g
- For 1kg meat/veg
- Use 28–30g
Soften a chopped onion in a little oil or butter, then add garlic and ginger. Stir in the blend with a splash of water and cook for a minute until fragrant. Add the meat or vegetables with a little tomato or stock and simmer until tender, then stir in cream or yoghurt and warm through gently. Salt to taste at the end: this blend has no added salt.
Brown chunks of chicken first, or add leftover grilled tikka pieces for the last ten minutes.
