Terms of sale

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy from Pinchwell Seasonings Ltd at www.pinchwellseasonings.com. Please read them before you order. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

Pinchwell Seasonings Ltd is a business based in the United Kingdom. Address for correspondence: Princes Risborough, United Kingdom. Returns address: PO BOX 2345. Email: hello@pinchwell.com.

We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.

2. Who can buy

We sell to consumers for personal and household use. You must be 18 or over to place an order. We deliver only to the UK addresses listed on our Delivery & returns page. For trade or wholesale enquiries, please email us.

3. How the contract is formed

When you place your order and your payment is taken, the contract between us is made. We will email you straight away to confirm your order, what you bought, the total you paid, when we will dispatch, and how to cancel. That email is your confirmation of the contract.

We dispatch within 3 days of payment. If we cannot supply an item — for example because it is out of stock, we cannot deliver to your address, or because of a pricing error described in clause 5 — we will tell you and refund what you paid for it within 14 days.

Cancelling before dispatch. Email hello@pinchwell.com if you want to cancel before the goods leave us, including within 24 hours of paying. If the items have not been handed to the carrier, we will cancel the order, refund what you paid, and we will not send them. Once the goods have been handed to the carrier, the returns rules in clause 7 apply.

4. Our products

Our seasonings are food products. Ingredients, allergens, net weight and storage instructions are shown on each product page and on the pack. Always read the label on the product you receive before use, because the label on the pack is the most up-to-date information. Product images are illustrations. Packaging may look slightly different from the images.

If you have a food allergy, please read our Allergens & ingredients page and email us before ordering if you have any questions.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling (£). We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. The price of the goods and the delivery charge are shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay, and that is the total you pay.

We take payment when you place your order. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

We check our prices carefully, but mistakes can happen. If the correct price of an item is higher than the price shown when you ordered, we will contact you before accepting your order to ask whether you want to go ahead at the correct price or cancel. If you cancel, or we cannot reach you, we will refund you in full.

6. Delivery

Delivery areas, charges and the 3-day dispatch time are set out on our Delivery & returns page, which forms part of these terms. Some kitchen & tableware is sent directly by our suppliers; where it is, the product page shows the expected delivery time and the item may arrive separately. We remain responsible to you for these items. The goods become your responsibility, and you become their owner, once they have been delivered to the address you gave us and we have received full payment.

If our delivery is affected by an event outside our control (for example severe weather, postal disruption or a supplier failure), we will tell you as soon as possible and take steps to reduce the delay. If there is a risk of substantial delay, you can cancel the order and we will refund you for anything you have paid for but not received.

7. Your right to cancel

You can cancel within 14 days, starting the day after you receive the goods. Return packs that are still sealed and undamaged. Opened packs are not accepted because you changed your mind. We will still put it right if a pack is faulty or off, had expired, or was damaged or leaked on the way to you. How to cancel, the model cancellation form, refunds and who pays for returns are set out on our Delivery & returns page.

8. If there is a problem with your order

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your remedies are summarised on our Delivery & returns page. Nothing in these terms reduces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For detailed information, visit the Citizens Advice website or call the Citizens Advice consumer helpline.

9. Our responsibility for loss or damage

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products, and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

We supply our products for domestic and private use only. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with anything, please email hello@pinchwell.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We do not currently use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.

11. Your personal information

We use your personal information as described in our Privacy notice.

12. Other important terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we will tell you if this happens. You may only transfer your rights to someone else with our written agreement. If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest will continue to apply. If we delay in enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order.

13. Which laws apply and where you can bring proceedings

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in Scotland or in England and Wales. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or in England and Wales.
