Review policy

Last updated: 1st August 2026

Reviews on Larderfy are there to help other cooks choose. This page explains where they come from and how we handle them.

Who can review

  • About a week after an order arrives, we email the customer a personal review link for the blends on that order. Only the person who received that email can use the link.
  • Reviews sent through that link are marked Verified purchase.
  • Reviews a customer sent us another way (for example by email, or on a marketplace where we sold before) are only published when they come from a real order we can trace. They do not carry the Verified purchase label.

What we never do

  • We never write reviews ourselves, pay for reviews, or ask anyone to review a product they have not bought.
  • We never offer discounts, gifts or anything else in return for a review, or for a good one.
  • We never hide or remove a review because it is critical, and we never edit a review in a way that changes its meaning.

How reviews are published

  • Submitted reviews are held as pending until we publish them. We publish every genuine review, good or bad. The star rating shown on each blend is the average of every published review for it.
  • We may reply to a review in public. Our reply is always labelled as coming from us.

When a review is removed

We only remove or hold back a review when it:

  • is not a genuine experience of a real order
  • is offensive, abusive or discriminatory
  • contains someone's personal information
  • is not about the product or our service
  • is spam or advertising

Reporting a review

Every review has a Report this review link. Reports come straight to us, and we check the review against this policy. A review stays published while we check it, unless it clearly breaks the rules above. You can also email contact@larderfy.com.
