How to use
Batch guide
Per weight of meat or vegetables. Weigh the seasoning once — teaspoons are a rough check only.
- For 250g meat/veg
- Use 10g (approx. 2 generous teaspoons)
- For 500g meat/veg
- Use 20g
- For 1kg meat/veg
- Use 35–40g
Shake generously over chips the moment they come out of the fryer or oven, while they're still hot. The heat opens the spices and the paprika blooms in a way it simply won't on cold chips. Timing matters — season immediately.
Beyond chips, it works on anything where you want warmth and depth without sharp heat. Toss it through popcorn in a hot pan, shake it over scrambled eggs, or rub it under the skin of a whole chicken before roasting. It holds up through cooking and doesn't burn at oven temperatures.
Pro tip: for air-fryer chips, add the seasoning to raw chips with a drizzle of oil before the cycle starts — it caramelises directly onto the surface and gives a deeper, crispier finish than seasoning at the end.
